SUGAR GROVE, Ill. – While the rest of the LIV Golf League membership has an off-week following Chicago, Smash GC Captain Brooks Koepka is heading to Rome for next week’s Ryder Cup.

Koepka will be making his fourth appearance as a member of the U.S. Team after being selected as a captain’s pick by Zach Johnson.

Koepka finished tied for 24th at Chicago on the traditional leaderboard and took 26th in the point standings after shooting 5 under for the tournament. He shot a final-round even-par 71 before flying out to Rome.

As a team, Smash finished 11 under for the week and 10th on the team leaderboard. On Sunday, they produced a counting score of even par, with Jason Kokrak (70), Brooks Koepka (71) and Matthew Wolff (72) providing contributing scores. Chase Koepka shot a 74.

Brooks Koepka started the week fourth on the season-long individual points standings but dropped to fifth after Sunday’s round. He still has a chance to finish third in the final standings with a good result in the regular-season finale in Jeddah.

Kokrak is now 24th in points, the final position for players to secure guaranteed spots for the 2024 LIV Golf League season. Wolff is 25th in points and Chase Koepka is 48th.
